Accessibility Information (Germany & Austria)

This accessibility information applies to content published under the domain lanserhof.com.

1. General Description of Services

The Lanserhof Group operates several health resorts with a focus on holistic health, prevention and regeneration. In addition to hotel operations, this includes an outpatient clinic (Ambulatorium) in Austria as well as private clinics in Germany.

Via lanserhof.com, we provide information about our resorts, treatments and programmes, and offer contact and enquiry options as well as booking facilities for stays.

2. Use of Our Online Offering

Navigation is provided via the main menu, internal links and the footer. Key content and functions (information, contact/enquiry, booking/planning) are accessible through these elements.

3. Legal Framework and Technical Standards

Our online offering is aimed, among others, at users in Austria and Germany. We therefore align with the respective national regulations implementing the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), in particular:

• Germany: Act to Strengthen Accessibility (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG) and the Ordinance to the Act to Strengthen Accessibility (BFSGV)
• Austria: Federal Act on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (Accessibility Act – BaFG)

As the technical benchmark for digital accessibility, we apply the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 (current version v3.2.1). For web content, this essentially corresponds to WCAG 2.1, conformance levels A and AA.

In addition, we review and, where possible, improve compliance with more recent best practices (e.g. WCAG 2.2 AA) in order to reduce barriers on a sustainable basis.

4. Conformance Status

Current status: partially compliant.

We are continuously working to meet the requirements and to incrementally remove existing barriers. Due to the size and complexity of the offering (multilingual content, extensive information and booking journeys), some areas may not yet be fully accessible.

5. Non-accessible Content (Known Barriers)

At present, the following barriers may occur in particular (examples/typical patterns):

• Controls or interactive components without sufficient programmatic labelling (accessible name)
• Ambiguous or repeated link texts that make understanding more difficult for screen reader users
• Partially incomplete structure (heading hierarchy, landmarks) or navigation (e.g. alternative navigation paths)
• Keyboard operation and focus indication not consistently implemented across all areas
• Individual contrasts, status/error messages or form hints not consistently perceivable

We prioritise improvements especially for key user journeys (contact/enquiry, booking/planning, essential information pages).

Objective: We aim to make the website fully accessible in accordance with the standards mentioned in section 3 by August 2026 (subject to technically or content-related justified exceptions, e.g. third-party content outside our control).

6. Preparation of This Information and Assessment Method

The assessment is based on automated testing (crawling) as well as supplementary manual sample checks (e.g. keyboard operation, screen readers, contrast checks).
