Lanserhof is setting the course for the future and announcing key personnel changes in the areas of Hotel Operations and Finance. Effective 1 June 2026, Michael Braun assumed the position of Hotel Director at Lanserhof Tegernsee. At the same time, Alexander Mutavdzic has joined the Group as Head of Finance, strengthening its finance organisation during a phase of strategic growth.

With Michael Braun, Lanserhof Tegernsee has gained an outstanding and internationally experienced industry expert as its new Hotel Director. Braun brings more than 25 years of impressive experience in the luxury hotel industry. Following positions with leading hotel brands such as Hilton, Hyatt and Kempinski, including in Berlin, St. Moritz, Paris, Dubai, Doha and Istanbul, he most recently served for many years as Hotel Manager at the renowned Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt at Tegernsee and at the Althoff Hotel am Schlossgarten in Stuttgart.

With his strong ties to the Tegernsee region, exceptional hospitality skills and extensive national and international expertise, Michael Braun will further enhance the hotel division’s first-class service at Lanserhof and set new standards of quality.

Torsten Kiener, who previously served as long-standing Hotel Director at Tegernsee, will remain with Lanserhof as Project Manager Operations. In addition, he will continue to oversee the Margarethenhof and its associated golf club.

Sustainable strengthening of the finance organisation

Also effective 1 June 2026, Alexander Mutavdzic took up his operational role at the Group’s headquarters in Tegernsee. As Head of Finance, he brings more than 14 years of extensive and broad-based experience in financial management within the luxury hotel industry. His previous positions include renowned properties such as Mandarin Oriental in Munich, where he served as Director of Finance, Sircle Collection in Berlin, where he was Regional Director of Finance Germany, and Kempinski Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Munich. In his new role, Alexander Mutavdzic will assume strategic and operational responsibility for accounting across the Group’s resorts in Germany and Austria, and in future also for the new location in Marbella, Spain. In addition to the professional and disciplinary management of the growing accounting team, he will play a key role in the sustainable optimisation and modernisation of internal finance processes. This represents an important step in future-proofing the finance organisation’s structures in light of new shareholder structures and increasing market demands.

“By appointing Michael Braun and Alexander Mutavdzic, we have gained two highly experienced leaders from the international luxury hotel industry for Lanserhof,” says Christian Siegling, COO of the Lanserhof Group. “Michael Braun brings exactly the keen sense and extensive operational experience required to continuously enhance the service and guest experience at Tegernsee.
