Activities at Lanserhof

Our extensive social programme invites our guests to get to know different activities, try them out and gather inspiration. During their stay, our guests are offered an “Awakening by the Sea”. Together we go to the beach before breakfast, do light mobility exercises, get the circulation going, and gather strength for the coming day. Exercise is an essential part of our Lanserhof concept, because it ensures a stable and healthy cardiovascular system and it strengthens the immune system. During the Lanserhof stay, exercise supports the cleansing processes and thus improves the detoxification results. The basis of our movement philosophy is coordination, because the neuromuscular system accompanies us throughout our lives and keeps both body and mind fresh.

For those who want to be even more active, we offer yoga and Pilates classes during the day. Both of these focus on stretching and strengthening the muscles. While Pilates is particularly well suited for people with physical complaints, such as back pain, as well as specifically for those who want to improve their posture, yoga is perfect for letting go of mental stress to find inner peace again. Our guests also have the opportunity to take part in aquafit, Nordic walking, cycling tours, mobility training, and other training courses.Particularly noteworthy are our courses to strengthen the musculoskeletal system, run by our certified sports scientists. We also focus on improving neuromuscular skills with courses on coordination and balance.

In addition, our sports scientists and physiotherapists will be happy to draw up an individual exercise programme for each guest on request, according to their respective physical capacity, resilience, and personalised training objective.

Our guests can find peace and relaxation through meditation and hypnotic relaxation.

A variety of lectures on a wide range of health topics – in both German and English – are regularly offered in addition to the introductory lecture given by our chief physician, Dr. Jan Stritzke.

Another highlight for our guests is the cooking class with our head chef Dietmar Priewe.
