The power of nature

The power of nature is an important aspect of the “Lanserhof idea”. It offers space to regain lost energy, to draw new strength, and to fill a possible void. At Lanserhof, nature is an integral and decisive part of the overall concept. It is reflected in the architecture, in the materials used, and in the generous use of space. This, coupled with the immediate proximity to the surrounding meadows and forests, gives our guests the feeling that the boundaries between inside and outside are blurred.

Especially at this time of year, permaculture around Lake Tegern invites you to discover the unique flora and fauna of the fantastic mountain world of the Alps: wide meadows, deep forests, crystal-clear streams, the air spiced with earthy aroma – a treasure of nature that deeply touches our senses. Here, a person connects with their environment in a way that lasts – even after they have left the valley, the greenery, and the peace again. The body can recharge, new impulses awaken. The energy returns and persists beyond the stay.

The nature around Lanserhof Tegernsee is not only a real feast for the eyes but also the home of Bavarian bees. They play a crucial role in our ecosystem. 80 percent of our native cultivated and wild plants, i.e., a good third of our fruit and vegetables, depend on pollination by bees.

The UN World Council on Biological Diversity warns of serious consequences for food security if the number of bees continues to decline. Bees are important economically, socially, and culturally. The lack of pollination can exacerbate many global crises and trigger additional problems. Honey itself is a real virus killer. It strengthens the immune system and helps with colds and inflammations thanks to special enzymes.
