Once again the renowned Lanserhof Tegernsee has been awarded the prestigious accolade of World’s Best Medical Spa by the World Spa Awards. Having previously won this award in 2015, it is a great testament to the commitment and dedication the Lanserhof has to both its guests and the wellness industry.
This year’s awards also saw Lanserhof Tegernsee receive the award for Germany’s Best Wellness Retreat 2016, adding to the considerable sucess the medical spa has experienced over the last three years. Since its opening in 2014, Lanserhof Tegernsee has gone from strength to strength, earning an impressive reputation for its innovative symbiosis of naturopathy and state-of-the-art medicine that starts guests on the path to optimum health.

The World Spa Awards programme aims to serve as a benchmark of excellence, to help foster growth and to drive up standards within the spa tourism industry by rewarding sector leaders. In this year’s awards, the Lanserhof saw off tough competition from 8 other medical spas, including FX Mayr Health Center The Original, Chiva-Som and SHA Wellness Clinic.
On winning the award, Dr Christian Harisch, Lanserhof CEO and Managing Director said “This award is a wonderful recognition for us.
